Ethan’s Christmas Buxumbox review

“I made the decision to purchase a Ventoux MTB BuxomBox as I travel frequently & need a quality hard case not only for peace of mind but because my cycle insurance requires it. I contacted the company with a few questions before I put in my order. Correspondence was quick, extremely helpful & all queries were dealt with efficiently. I even had a few issues with the design of the box that they assisted with. I put my order in & was excited to see what it would look like.

Upon delivery the box was packaged safely. I was & am still, very pleased with the service & high quality of the product. The design turned out better in person than I imagined.

Pro tip: don’t be like me; read the instructions of how to pack the bike properly on the website. I was worried at one point that the bike didn’t fit but rest assured eventually after reading the instructions it fit like a dream.

Due to Covid I haven’t managed to travel with it yet however it is making a handy storage box for the bike to keep it out of the way when I don’t ride it for a few days. It is easy to manoeuvre the box due to the wheels, which are super smooth & the bike sits extremely securely so I am confident it will travel well. I highly recommend these boxes if you are looking for a safe secure bike travel box.”

At Queenstown airport last week, I rolled up to the oversized check-in counter with my imposing Ventoux MTB box. The woman asks me what’s in the box. “A bike”, I said loading the box onto the conveyor belt for scanning.
“Oh”, she said. “I wish everyone packed their bikes in a box like this”…!
